1st School Uniform

Today Daksh went to school wearing his 1st school uniform:

Daksh has started going to play school

From 18th of October, 2010 Daksh has started going to play school (Noddy's).

Our office has also been relocated

On 16th Aug our office has also been relocated from Sector-19 to Sector-57 Noida. It is more spacious and better than the previous one. The new office address is:

We've Shifted

This week we shifted our residence from Sector-34 to Sector-52 (E-3/Shatabdi Vihar) Noida. The flat is on the 2nd floor and has a 2BHK accommodation. The address is:

NOIDA Authority reminds us of the pre-mobile era

NOIDA authority has shut down almost 400 mobile network towers saying that they are illegal and have been installed without prior permission. Mobile connectivity has been reduced to bare minimum and for some hours today afternoon, Vodafone connections were not working at all in our office.

It feels as if we are in the pre-mobile era. One way it is really nice because it shows our dependence on mobiles. On one hand I felt really relaxed since no one could contact me and on the other hand I was worrying what would happen if I missed an important call. Finally I had to recharge my old Airtel prepaid sim card for important calls.

Daksh's Nanu and Nani visited Mahagun site today

Today Daksh's Nanu and Nani visited Mahagun site and saw our flat. Although we were not allowed to enter the construction area but we somehow managed to get hard hats and sneak inside. We also took a round of entire Crossings Republik area and saw the over all progress. 

Around 18000 flats are under construction in Crossings Republik. It looks like a  whole new city altogether.Our colony has around 1500 flats at the moment (will keep on increasing as the builders are trying to introduce more and more towers in the same space).

The are the 1st pics of our home in Managun mascot that I clicked on 24th Jan 2010. The image on the left was taken from the entrance. On the left hand are dining area and kitchen. On the right are 2 bedrooms and in the center (far end) is the 3rd master bedroom. The drawing room is not visible in the picture (it was on my right hand side while clicking this picture).

The image on right is the outside view. I have outlined our flat by a blue line. It is on the 1st floor. 1st balcony from left is drawing room, then 2 bedrooms and the last one (extreme right) is the master bedroom.

The construction is going on on th 11th floor and it is expected to go upto 19-20 floors. The possession might be delayed till march 2011.

Daksh won fancy dress competition in our colony

Our RWA conducted a lot of cultural programs and competitions on 26th January. Daksh participated in the fancy dress competition wearing a simple "Dhoti-Kurta" and got the 1st prize out of 10 children.

Although we were a little disappointed when the prize distribution did not include fancy dress in their list but the next day RWA people came to our home and apologised for the mistake and handed over a certificate and a gold medal to Daksh.
